I think at the crossroads of innovation and intersectionality. Achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals cannot be looked in silo; the longer we wait to realize that each of the goals to be achieved are interconnected, the longer we take to truly achieve a peaceful, just world. Utilizing my background in Anthropology, I looked at global empowerment through mechanisms of healthcare, environmental stewardship, economic empowerment, and reduced inequalities. My first global organization worked to reduce inequalities in the education system; my second worked to empower young people internationally to empower themselves through launching social change projects; my third initiative seeks to provide the support and resources needed to launch and scale sustainable enterprises. I’ve advised, consulted for, and worked for U.S. Agency for International Development, the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, and the Roosevelt Institute - across spectrums of international aid, political strategy, and youth empowerment.
