Plamen Russev is a serial entrepreneur, investor, philanthropist and blockchain advisor. He is the founder and Executive Chairman of Blockchain Governance Forum, a not-for-profit organisation which brings investors, blockchain experts, policy makers, and academia together to discuss public policy issues relating to blockchain. He is also a member of the European Union Blockchain Observatory & Forum.

 

In addition, Russev is the founder and Executive Chairman of Webit Foundation, which connects top leaders from business, government, academia and startups with the goal of reinventing the future of the world.

 

For his commitment to developing the innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystems and developing strong strings between academia and business, Russev was awarded the title Doctor Honoris Causa of VFU.
