Growing up capsizing boats in the ocean and getting lost in the mountains of Washington State, USA, Anda developed close ties to the outdoors, an interest in sustainability, and substantial knowledge of Pacific salmon. Currently studying natural and social sciences at Minerva Schools at KGI, she hopes to incorporate environmental studies with education and social impact. Passionate about traveling since age fourteen when her parents took her out of school to spend two months abroad, she has since worked on sustainability and biodiversity projects in San Francisco, Tokyo, and Seoul, and in education in Hyderabad. She is always seeking opportunities to hike and sail, misses her chickens and hometown of 1,902 residents, and is currently based in Berlin.
